Oil & Gas
We’re proud to be working with ADNOC and Baker Hughes as part of a strategic collaboration that aims to accelerate the development and commercialisation of technology solutions for hydrogen and graphene.
Water
We’re working with one of the UK’s leading water companies, United Utilities, on a pioneering project that will see biogas from wastewater treatment used as a fully sustainable feedstock to produce hydrogen and graphene.
Landfill
We are working with Tadweer (Abu Dhabi Waste Management Company) on a first-of-its-kind pilot to install Levidian’s LOOP technology at an Abu Dhabi-based landfill site where we will clean up landfill gas to create graphene and a hydrogen-rich blend gas that can be used to generate clean electricity on site.
Construction
Working in partnership with Luxembourg construction company Stugalux, we’re on a mission to transform biomethane produced from food and agricultural waste to create graphene that will be integrated into the building products used by Stugalux to improve performance and drive down the carbon footprint of new buildings.
Batteries
Levidian graphene – used as an additive in lithium ion batteries as a replacement for carbon black – shows a significant improvement in both charge and discharge rates. It results in significantly higher capacity compared to carbon black with improvements of up to 20%.
Tyres
Levidian’s graphene is produced as part of a unique decarbonisation solution called LOOP that allows tyre producers to drive down the emissions of their manufacturing processes and products through the production of clean hydrogen and high-quality graphene, which can be used as a reinforcing, tread grade carbon filler in tyre formulations.
Rubber Gloves
In collaboration with Meditech Gloves and Cranfield University, our graphene is helping to make vitally important medical gloves stronger whilst accelerating biodegradability by 45%*.
