Levidian joins the Race to Zero, pledges to reach net zero by 2040

Levidian is proud to have joined the UN's Race to Zero with a pledge to reach net zero by 2040.

We have joined the global campaign as a signatory to the SME Climate Commitment - the official pathway for small and medium sized businesses to halve emissions by 2030 and to become net zero by 2050 or sooner.

As a growing business, we have committed to halve the intensity of our emissions by 2030 with a view to achieving net zero by 2040 and will report on our progress each year.

Mike Lloyd, Head of Sustainability & Innovation Funding

Levidian’s Head of Sustainability, Mike Lloyd, said: “The future has never been brighter for Levidian and this commitment is an important sign of how the business is maturing.

“We’re working hard to build out our ESG and sustainability strategy to ensure alignment with global standards and investor expectations and are already undertaking monthly monitoring of our Scope 1 and 2 emissions while encouraging the team to make more conscious choices around travel.

“Moving forward, we’re exploring opportunities to drive down our carbon footprint through the installation of solar panels and other initiatives.”

A third-party appraisal of all Levidian’s operational emissions is set to take place at the end of this year to align carbon reporting with our year-end financial reporting.
