Levidian is a British climate tech business supporting customers in the world’s most carbon-intensive industries to decarbonise their operations and products.

Underpinned by our patented LOOP technology, we capture the carbon from methane gas before it’s burned and crack it into clean hydrogen and high-quality graphene - a super-material that can be used to enhance the intrinsic characteristics of products in industries as far ranging as steel, batteries and petrochemicals.

We are already working with some of the world’s largest companies and have sold LOOP and graphene to 50+ customers globally, with 10 LOOP units in the field or under construction today.

• Carbon Prevention: Reducing CO2 emissions by providing a viable hydrogen alternative to fossil-fuels.

LOOP: The Transformative Technology Unlocking Decarbonisation 

Our core technology LOOP can be deployed anywhere with a methane source – whether it be grid, flare of vent gas – and is designed as a self-contained modular system that can be quickly and easily retrofitted to existing infrastructure, so businesses can feel the benefit of decarbonisation from day one and scale the technology over time.

Levidian in the UAE

In 2023, we were delighted to announce our first international expansion with the establishment of a new base in Abu Dhabi, with our office officially opening in the region this year. With the UAE a fast-growing hub for companies looking to play their part in the energy transition, Levidian is proud to be working with several partners in the region to accelerate decarbonisation efforts.

• Creation of 250 skilled jobs in manufacturing and R&D

• Local supply chain development

We already have the backing of two exceptional organisations - Mubadala and Baker Hughes - two world-first projects with ADNOC and Tadweer Group, and a pioneering partnership with Khalifa University's (Research & Innovation Center for Graphene and 2D Materials (RIC2D).
